My mission is to bring the outdoors in and support outdoor activities. My goal is to capture a moment of Zen and perspective on a glass. I like glassware as a medium because of the functionality, multi-dimensional work space and transparency.
I started etching glassware in 2006, finding the diamond rotary bits while working at ACE Hardware. We cut window panes as a service, so on a broken pane I etched a picture of an oak tree and American flag from our family’s land. This engraving was given to my mother as a Christmas gift. Since then, we have sold the property – making that framed glass engraving even more meaningful and beautiful today.
Progress into college at ASU in 2008, my involvement with the Entrepreneurship Club served as an outlet to start etching and experimenting again. Eventually, I became a Wine Manager in Valle Crucis and my focus into stemware developed. I won the College of Business 2012 Elevator Pitch. Then I started selling product to Chancellor Peacock and the College of Business as gifts. In 2013 I became finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year.
After graduating from ASU in 2013, BSBA Finance and Banking – Magna Cum Laude, I worked in traveling sales and marketing for two of the best power tool companies in the world. I put my craft on hold and focused on living my brand “in Nature.” I have explored and fished a lot of water throughout North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky and SW Virginia during my travels.
Now, Winter 2024, I have left the corporate world to focus on my craft again. My workshop is finally setup and streamlined, so I can produce the ideas that have been floating around in my head for over a decade. More importantly, I can walk my dog by the river whenever I want!
Cheers, to Nature!
